Pu Luong – Ninh Binh 3 Days 2 Nights

Pick-up from your Hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter (06:40 – 06:50) or Ninh Binh (08:00 – 08:30). Expect a 4,5 hours from Ha Noi or a 3,5 hours from Ninh Binh to drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, with a short break on the way. 11:30 AM: Arrival at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy lunch. 13:30 - 14:00 PM: Pick-up from your hotel in Pu Luong and begin a relaxing trek along scenic village trails. As you walk through the countryside, you will be surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of terraced rice fields, rolling hills, and lush green valleys—offering a true escape into nature. Along the way, visit local stilt houses, meet friendly villagers, and gain insight into their daily life, traditions, and unique culture. This is a great opportunity to experience the authentic charm of Pu Luong and connect with local communities. Depending on the season, weather conditions, and group preferences, you will explore one of the following highlights: Option 1: Visit Kho Muong Village, a peaceful and traditional village nestled deep in the valley. Here, you can interact with local families and learn about their way of life. Continue to Bat Cave, a stunning natural cave known for its impressive formations and as a habitat for many bats. Alternatively, visit Don Village, one of the oldest and most beautiful villages in central Pu Luong. Famous for its scenic S-shaped road surrounded by vibrant rice terraces, this is a perfect spot for photos and cultural exploration. Option 2: Visit Hieu Waterfall, one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Pu Luong. Relax by a natural spring, enjoy a refreshing drink, and take in the peaceful surroundings. You will also have the chance to observe local daily activities such as farming and traditional work. (Note: Depending on the season, this option is available only when water levels are sufficient.). 16:30 - 17:00: Return to your hotel in Pu Luong to enjoy the swimming pool. 08h00 -08h30: Check out of the Lodge, your guide will pick you up and take you to Lan Village through rice fields and mountains. Visit a Thai household, see silk weaving from cocoon to textile, and try weaving your own silk. Next, Chieng Lau Village, where you'll witness traditional farming practices and the ancient waterwheels in action. 10h00: Set out on a scenic 1 – 2 km trek from Chieng Lau to Cham Stream. Along the way, stop at a traditional local house to experience genuine hospitality and immerse yourself in the region's culture. 10h45: Arrive at Cham Stream for a bamboo rafting adventure and enjoy a delicious lunch on the bamboo raft. Relax as you float through lush forests, rice fields, and charming villages. (Bring a swimsuit and towel if the weather is warm.). 13h00 – 13h30: Say goodbye to the fabulous Pu Luong Nature Reserve and start the journey to reach Halong Bay on land, Ninh Binh. 17h00: Arrival at the lodge in Ninh Binh and free time to relax around the pool or on the terrace to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and have Dinner. 08h00-08h30: Get pick up by our friendly guide then visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le and Ly Dynasty. 09h30: Get back to Car then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here. 12h00: Enjoy a local cuisine lunch in the restaurant with many local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice... Vegetarian options are also available. 13h30: Visit Trang An which was recognized by Unesco as A World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong's Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016- "Skull Island". With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here. 17h00: Finish the tour and get on the Bus to take you back to Ha Noi (19h30 – 20h00).
