Cuc Phuong National Park: As Vietnam's first national park, Cuc Phuong is celebrated for its rich biodiversity and ancient primary rainforest. What to expect 1-day itinerary

1 Day 1 Tour itinerary

06:10 – 06:20 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter.

08h30: Our guide and driver pick you up in NINH BINH by bus at your addresses around Ninh Binh then depart for Cuc Phuong National Park through beautiful countryside roads.

09h30: Arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park, visit Endangered Primate Rescue centre, about 30 minutes, visit Turtle Conservation Program, 45 minutes.

10h20: Visit Nguoi Xua cave, the “ Cave of Prehistoric Man”. In 1966 graves and tools were excavated here dating back 7500 years making it one of the oldest sites of human habitation in Vietnam.

11h20: Go to the park centre by car, about 20 kilometers through primary forest.

12h00: Have lunch at the park entrance or centre.

13h00: Two different hikes: To the “ 1000 Years Old Tree” and to the “ Ancient Tree”. You can choose between mountainous trekking or trekking over flat paths.

15h00: Return to Tam Coc village.

16h00: Arrive at Tam Coc and of tour.
